ergoCub is an innovative project led by the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in collaboration with the Italian National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work (INAIL). The primary objective of ergoCub is to use robotics to prevent and reduce the physical and mental strain faced by workers, ultimately enhancing workplace safety. Over the course of three years, INAIL is investing 5 million euros to design and develop a humanoid robot that incorporates wearable technologies. This cutting-edge collaboration aims to revolutionize worker safety and advance ergonomics, setting a new standard for future work environments.
